PRAYER FOR THE CHILDREN
O Lord God, we bring our children before you. We pray for their healing and forgiveness of sins. We give them to you for your protection from all evil. We believe that your wisdom and counsel will guide them. As parents and caregivers, we pray that you grant us the grace to train them in the way they should live. We pray for their teachers and counselors grant them the grace and courage to teach with authority and love. We pray that their angels will not be hindered from their protection and guidance. Thank you for keeping our children in your perfect will and giving them a purpose for their lives. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

NOTE: A special service was held at the beginning of the school year. The children received ribbons that they could tie on their bookbags, binders....where ever they would see it daily, as a reminder that their church family was praying for them. They also took some ribbons to school and gave them to their friends and teachers, telling them that their church family would pray for them also. The names were brought back to church and added to our prayer list.
