Daily Confessions and Prayers

St. John’s Confession of the Word

“In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with God, and the Word was God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him. The Word was the source of life, and this life brought light to people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out.” John 1:1-5 GNB

I believe His blood was accepted as a Holy Sacrifice for my sins.

I believe He pronounced me right God.

I believe The God and the Word sent The Holy Spirit to the earth.

I believe The Holy Spirit came to prove teach us The Word.

I believe The Holy Spirit lives in me.

Psalms 128:1-6

“Happy are those who obey the LORD, who live by his commands. Your work will provide for your needs; you will be happy and prosperous. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine in your home, and your children will be like young olive trees around your table. A man who obeys the LORD will surely be blessed like this. May the LORD bless you from Zion! May you see Jerusalem prosper all the days of your life! May you live to see your grandchildren! Peace be with Israel!”

 (GNB)

A Confession of Psalms 128

I am happy because I obey the LORD. I live by his commands. My work will provide for my needs; I am happy and prosperous. My wife is like a fruitful vine in my home. My children are like young olive trees around my table. I am surely blessed because I obey the LORD. The LORD will bless me from ZION where he lives. Jerusalem will always prosper. I will live to see my grandchildren. I will have a life of peace.

This is the purpose of my life.

I was born to give God pleasure.

I was formed for God’s Family.

I was created to become like Christ.

I was shaped for serving God.

I was made for a Mission.

My mission is to share the message of Jesus Christ with everyone.

I have a testimony to share with others.

The will share my testimony with everyone I meet.

I will live to serve the purpose of God in my generation.
